CAESAR size guide

Know the measurements. Compare with a garment that feels right.

Measured with the garment laid flat

Original chart values are in centimetres with the garment laid flat, without stretching. Chest, waist and hips are edge-to-edge widths, not body circumferences.

Measure a garment that fits you

  1. Lay it flat

Place a comfortable garment on a flat surface and smooth it gently without stretching.

  2. Measure the width edge to edge

Measure the chest from underarm to underarm, the waist across the waistband, and the hips at the illustrated position. Compare garment widths rather than a tape wrapped around your body.

  3. Measure the length and sleeves

Measure the top from the highest shoulder point to the bottom hem, and the sleeve from shoulder to cuff. Measure pants from the top of the waistband to the leg opening.

  4. Compare the matching chart

Choose Men, Women or Kids and review top and pants charts separately. Use actual measurements rather than relying only on a size letter or age label.

A few useful sizing answers

Does each size add 2 cm on each side?

No. Adding 2 cm on each side would add 4 cm to the total width, which is not the increment in every column. For example, adult chest width increases by 2.5 cm; waist width increases by 2 cm for men and 3 cm for women. Check the actual measurement and chart.

Are these body circumferences?

No. In this guide, chest, waist and hips are garment widths measured flat. Do not compare these numbers directly with body circumferences, or double or halve the chart values when comparing a flat garment.

Should I choose kids’ sizes by age alone?

Age is the size label in this chart; actual measurements are the comparison reference. Measure a garment that fits the child before choosing.

Do tops and pants use the same measurements?

No. Each has a separate chart. When choosing a set, check both pieces before ordering.
